How the money works
Deutsche Fassung: So funktioniert das Geld
In short: You never pay anything. There are no deposits, no purchases and no fees, so you cannot lose money. Payouts come only from what the app itself earns through advertising and partner offers, never from other players.
Why you never pay in
Many money apps of the past asked players to pay in first and promised returns. The money of new players paid the old ones until the system collapsed. TinyMayor works the other way round: players never pay in. You cannot buy IP, plots or advantages. We never ask for card details. You choose how to receive a payout.
Where the money comes from
TinyMayor earns money through advertising and partner offers in the app. Each month, part of that month's earnings is paid out to the buildings of all players. If the app earns little in a month, there is little to pay out. Nothing else flows into the pot, and nothing comes from players.
How a month is split
- We take what the app earned in the month.
- We keep a reserve for taxes and running costs (servers, payment fees).
- The rest is divided by all the IP that players used that month, for buildings, maintenance and plots. That gives the value of one IP for this month.
- IP used for unlocking plots goes to TinyMayor. Its share of the month stays with the company and pays for running the app.
Every IP keeps the value of the month it was used in. It does not change later. Each month only pays out its own earnings.
How your building pays out
A building carries the value of the IP you put into it and pays it out to your balance month by month. Maintenance costs 1 IP per month and keeps your buildings running. A house needs a road next to it to earn. If supplies like power or water are missing nearby, its monthly amount is reduced, and the reduced part goes back into the current month for everyone.
Payouts
- From a balance of €5 / $5. Payouts are sent through our payout partner, for example to PayPal, in your name.
- Only for adults. We check payouts before we send them.
- You are responsible for taxes on your payouts.
What we do not promise
TinyMayor is a game, not an investment. We do not promise any amount, return or interest. How much one IP is worth depends only on what the app earns and how many IP all players use. Amounts can be small.
Everything in the open
Every month we will show in the app what the app earned, how big the reserve was, how many IP were used and what one IP is worth. So you will always be able to check how your payout is calculated.
