Draft. To be reviewed by a lawyer before launch, especially sections 5 to 7.

Deutsche Fassung: Nutzungsbedingungen

1. Scope

These terms apply to the TinyMayor app by Andre Heuer – TinyMayor, Frickestr. 49, 20251 Hamburg, Germany. By creating an account you agree to them.

2. Account

One account per person. You need a valid email address, an Apple account or a Google account. Keep your login details secret. TinyMayor is available in Germany, the other EU countries except Italy, and the USA.

3. IP

IP is the in-game currency of TinyMayor. You get IP by playing games in the app and by watching optional ad videos. IP cannot be bought, sold, transferred or exchanged for money.

4. Plots and buildings

Plots and buildings are purely virtual. They give you no rights to real land or buildings, and TinyMayor does not operate real wind or solar plants. You can only unlock and build on a plot within 100 m of your current location. Do not enter private property for this and watch out for traffic.

5. Monthly credits

Each month, TinyMayor sets aside part of the app's income for credits to players, after a reserve for taxes and costs. This amount is divided by all IP used in that month, which gives the value per IP for that month. We publish the reserve percentage and the value per IP in the app.

Buildings receive the value of the IP put into them and credit it to your balance in monthly parts as long as you maintain them. The amount depends on the app's actual income. There is no right to any particular amount.

6. Payouts

7. Inactivity

If you do not open the app for 30 days, your plots and buildings become free again. We remind you by email first. Balance already credited to you stays yours.

8. Fair play

Fake locations, bots, more than one account per person and exploiting bugs are not allowed. We may suspend accounts that break these rules. Balance gained through a violation will not be paid out.

9. Changes and termination

We may develop the game further and change these terms with reasonable notice. You can delete your account at any time (see Delete account). If we shut down TinyMayor, we will announce it at least 30 days in advance, and you can withdraw balances from €5 until then.

10. Liability and law

We are fully liable for intent and gross negligence and for injury to life, body or health. Otherwise we are only liable for breach of essential obligations, limited to typical, foreseeable damage. German law applies. Mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence remain unaffected.

If the English and German versions differ, the German version applies.
